Lauren Connelly, ACE, is a film & television editor, originally from Chantilly, Virginia. She graduated from The University of Southern California with a B.A. in Cinema-Television Production. Lauren is currently editing on CRY WOLF, a limited series for FX starting Olivia Coleman and Brie Larson. Her most recently released work is BEEF Season 2 for A24 on Netflix. Past credits include television shows such as MO on Netflix, GASLIT on Starz, MASTERS OF SEX on Showtime, THE STRAIN on FX, and THE SON on AMC.  Recent feature films include SITTING IN BARS WITH CAKE for Amazon Studios, A TOURIST’S GUIDE TO LOVE on Netflix, and Rodrigo Garcia’s FOUR GOOD DAYS, which premiered at Sundance, and then received an Oscar Nomination in 2022 for Best Original Song.

Lauren is proud to be a mentor in the ACE Diversity Mentorship Program, USC School of Cinematic Arts Mentorship Program, and MPEG’s The Lift Up Women Mentorship Program. She also is a volunteer editing mentor with Film2Future, a nonprofit that delivers professional-level filmmaking programs for under-served teenagers in Los Angeles.
